The client

UBConnect is building 5G networks in Norway and other European countries. To achieve their strategic goal of expansion, they needed to recruit a large number of engineers, electricians, project managers, and support staff.

The goal of the collaboration was to create a recruitment concept that resonated with the target audience, increased the number of relevant applicants, and aligned with their new communication strategy and visual profile

 

Challenge

The competition for engineers and technical expertise is fierce in today’s market, so it was important to develop a creative communication concept that would be relevant, effective, and generate interest in the company.

 

Solution

he creative concept revolves around the phrase: "Our grandparents connected our country by rail, we connect the world by 5G." The idea is that while our ancestors connected the country with railways, we are now connecting it with 5G technology.

Just as the railway network once brought us together, the 5G network is now linking us even more closely through high-speed internet. This concept was designed to appeal to both workers in Norway and in Eastern Europe.

We created an animated film for social media and targeted the audience with banner ads featuring specific, relevant job postings, which directed users to the recruitment portal.

What stood out the most was the excellent CPM (cost per thousand impressions), which consistently showed how interesting and relevant the content was to the target audience.

The recruitment campaign has delivered excellent results for the client. UBConnect has received many relevant job applications and increased its digital presence. Not least, the campaign has helped build the company's brand and visibility.
