Overview
Norwegian Airlines embarked on a redesign of their in-flight safety brochures to enhance clarity in safety communications, strengthen brand recognition, and align with the updated Norwegian visual identity. Previously using 3D illustrations, which proved ineffective at smaller sizes, the airline identified an opportunity to modernize both style and representation.
This redesign aimed to provide a more neutral portrayal of people, addressing feedback that previous illustrations leaned toward a specific ethnicity and idealized body type, which some passengers found exclusionary.
