As the largest fitness chain in the Nordics and the third largest in Europe, Sats identified a serious health issue: heart failure is the second leading cause of death in the region, yet only 1 in 4 people are prepared to respond with essential first aid. Despite a strong desire to learn, many people simply don’t find the time to follow through on life-saving training..
Sats leveraged its app, where members book over 300,000 sessions weekly, to bring first aid training to the forefront. They introduced a new group class, “No Pulse,” where members could learn critical first aid techniques in an accessible and engaging setting, reinforcing Sats’s commitment to holistic health.
The “No Pulse” class was rolled out with 28 sessions across four countries. Each class combined fitness with essential first aid training, offering members an active and memorable way to learn CPR and emergency response skills. Demand exceeded expectations—every session was fully booked, over 1,000 members joined the waitlist, and 98% of participants expressed eagerness to take the class again. This campaign successfully integrated health education into Sats’s fitness model, equipping members with life-saving skills in an innovative, practical format.
