Senior UX designer

TRY Dig Latvia is looking for an experienced UX designer who feels comfortable with variety of challenges in UX field.

As a senior User Experience (UX) designer at TRY Dig Latvia you act as a trusted advisor to our clients and your colleagues, by being involved throughout all phases of digital and e-commerce product creation: business & user needs analysis, low fidelity prototyping, usability testing and following deployment, engaging with users to monitor and measure success. You will build long-term relationships, working with clients to translate their business strategy into great technical solutions for their commerce needs. You will be involved in new initiatives by clients who come to us for guidance in technology – both from a commercial and technical perspective.

Requirements and skills:

  • At least 5-10 years of experience designing consumer-focused products;
  • Analytical mind with an interest to solve complex business problems;
  • Strong understanding of usability and user experience principles;
  • Experience using quantitative data and qualitative user research insights, service design and personalised solutions to create loyalty, increased engagement and good customer experiences;
  • Ability to conduct UX and accessibility audits;
  • Accessibility guidelines in mind throughout all projects are critically important;
  • In-depth experience with Figma, Miro or similar design and prototyping tools;
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment in short iteration cycles;
  • Experience defining and monitoring success through analytics and metrics;
  • Experience in applying search engine optimisation (SEO) principles in developing well structured information architecture;
  • Strong presentation skills and experience in facilitating workshops internally and with clients;
  • Excellent communication skills in Latvian and English;


Expectations & responsibilities

  • Work closely with project managers, designers, developers and stakeholders to deliver the best possible solution for different digital and e-commerce products;
  • Take ownership of UX in projects to understand, incorporate and communicate qualitative and quantitative feedback throughout the design process;
  • Ability to balance customer needs, company goals, design cohesion, and ease of implementation;
  • Maintain, document and manage research and architectural processes in the company;
  • To be familiar with conversion rate optimization principles and how to apply them in UX practices;
  • Analyse Google Analytics data, use it to validate your research decisions and present it to clients;
  • Design well-organised and solution driven low and high fidelity solutions and prototypes that later can be handed over to UI designers; 
  • Confidently present work to stakeholders, argument decisions and facilitate workshops;
  • Be an inspiration and a mentor to other team members;
